Network for Young Scientists in Atmospheric Sciences

 

 

Open Call to Last Year Ph.D. Students for Expression of Interest in

Participating in a Network of Young Scientists in the Field of

Atmospheric Sciences

 

The British Council, Switzerland, the Institute Universitaire Kurt Bösch

(IUKB), Switzerland and The University of East Anglia, UK are creating a

new network for young scientists with the aim to

 

- enhance flexibility in international collaboration

- facilitate exchange in the field of atmospheric sciences and climate

change

- strengthen the longstanding scientific co-operation between the UK and

Switzerland

- promote the use of multi-purpose information technology for networking

 

The Network will be integrated into a Global Network for Young

Scientists established in ACCENT (Atmospheric Composition Change: a

European Network), a new European Project in Framework Programme VI of

the European Commission.

 

The first workshop will be held on 2 and 3 December 2004 in Sion and Lausanne, Switzerland.
