To mark 35 years of international leadership and community building in atmospheric chemistry, the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) Project, jointly sponsored by iCACGP (IAMAS\u2013IUGG) and Future Earth, has launched a dedicated open-access Special Feature in Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSince its inception in 1990<\/strong>, IGAC has facilitated international, cross-disciplinary science to address critical questions regarding air quality, climate, and biogeochemical interactions across borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\nThis Special Feature highlights science emerging from IGAC\u2019s mission<\/strong>, its community-driven activities <\/strong>(such as TOAR-II, CCMI, GEIA, PACES, and ACAM), and its regional working groups<\/strong> (including ANGA, MANGO, the Americas, and the Southern Hemisphere Working Group).<\/p>\n\n\n\nFind out more on our Publications page<\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

as the recipient of the 2026 Paul J. Crutzen Award for Early Career Scientists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSelected for outstanding scientific excellence, productivity, and community impact, Xinke Wang is recognized for the groundbreaking discovery of a new photochemical pathway of S(IV) oxidation.
