Any ICPAE member is eligible to nominate colleagues for IUGG and IAMAS awards. Details are provided below.

IAMAS Early Career Scientist Award:

Do you work with young scientists who deserve to be recognized for their contributions to IAMAS science? 

The IAMAS Early Career Medal is given once every 2 years at the IUGG/IAMAS meeting, and each commission can propose one candidate. The next award will be given at the July 2023 Assembly. The deadline for the 2023 nominations will be 1st May 2022, so nominations for the next award should be sent to the ICPAE Bureau by 24th April.

The nomination should include a brief (less than 2 page) account of the achievements of the nominated scientist, 2 letters of support, CV with an emphasis on their involvement with IAMAS, and a list of their major publications.
