The International Commission on Dynamical Meteorology is a constituent Commission of the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS). It is composed of scientists from a wide range of countries who are committed to furthering the pursuit of and international cooperation in the science of dynamical meteorology.

Special Announcements

The next workshop organized by ICDM will focus on Linking Weather and Climate Dynamics across Scales in Nanjing, China, 13-19 October 2024.

The next assembly will be the joint IAMAS – IACS – IAPSO Assembly, BACO-2025 in Busan, South Korea, 20-25 July 2025. This meeting was originally planned for 2021, but was cancelled due to the pandemic associated with COVID-19.

The ICDM is organized several symposiums for the 28th IUGG Assembly in Berlin, Germany, 11-20 July, 2023.

ICDM promoted ‘The First TEAMx Workshop’ (Multi-scale transport and exchange processes in the atmosphere over mountains programme and experiment) in Rovereto, Italy on 28-30 August 2019. For details: click here.
