- Launched March 4, 2024, MethaneSAT was an American-New Zealand space mission in 2024–25. It was an Earth observation satellite that monitored and studied global methane emissions in order to combat climate change. On July 2, 2025, it was announced that the satellite had likely run out of power.

- April 2024 – Oct 2025 – DOE ARM CAPE-k (Cloud And Precipitation Experiment at kennaook) – field campaign at Tasmania’s Kennaook/Cape Grim station (Australia) that has been collecting observations of Southern Ocean clouds, precipitation, and aerosol–cloud interactions to improve climate model representations in pristine marine environments.
