IAMAS Early Career Medal Nomination

The IAMAS Awards Committee seeks nominations for the IAMAS as well as the IUGG Early Career Medal, to be awarded at the July 2019 Assembly in Montreal Canada. Below are the nomination procedures for the IAMAS Early Career Medal, which requires a brief (less than 2 page) account of the achievements of the nominated scientist, details of their involvement with IAMAS, a list of their major publications and an assessment of their potential.

Call for Nominations for the Paul J. Crutzen award for Early Career Scientists – 2018

We are pleased to announce the Call for Nominations for the Paul J. Crutzen award for Early Career Scientists of iCACGP, one of IAMAS Commissions.

This award is granted for an outstanding research contribution in atmospheric sciences by an early career scientist. The purpose of the award is to promote scientific innovation in atmospheric sciences for the protection of the environment.

IAMAS Resolution on Earth Observation

At the IAMAS Scientific Assembly in Cape Town, South Africa during August 2017 the IAMAS Executive Committee approved the following resolution regarding the need for continuation and enhancement of Earth Observation systems to monitor the atmosphere, ocean and other elements of the Earth system.
